Regulations on the Establishment of the Office of Institutional Research

Approved by the 130th Meeting of University Affairs on December 26, 2018

Article 1 To strengthen the institutional development and professional management abilities of the
National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences (hereafter “the University”) and improve institutional operation efficiency, achieve University goals, and accurately evaluate learning outcomes, the University established the Office of Institutional Research (hereafter “the Office”).

Article 2 The Regulations for the Establishment of the Office of Institutional Research (hereafter “the Regulations”) are established according to Article 14 of the University Act and Article 24 of the Organization Regulations of the National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Science.

Article 3 The missions of the Office are as follows:

1. To maintain an objective and scientific work attitude, conduct evidence-based analysis and research of administrative information , assist in institution-level decision-making, and improve the decision-making quality and efficiency of the implementation unit.

2. To propose improvement strategies and methods based on data and analysis results to improve learning motivation, engagement, and outcomes and to research, develop, and promote professional and unique teaching mechanisms and models.

3. To assist in establishing future benchmarks and improvement plans for the University according to its current status and the development trend of domestic and overseas universities, to provide key institutional development plans, and to strategize and devise program plans.

4. To handle other affairs requested by the President

Article 4 The Office director shall be appointed by the President, must have the position of full-time associate professor or higher, and is responsible for handling the affairs mentioned in Article 3. If necessary, the director may assign personnel to handle the various topics and tasks of the Office.

Article 5 The Regulations shall be approved by the Meeting of University Affairs and implemented after they are submitted to and ratified by the President. Any amendments shall be processed accordingly.
